Posts: 133 Jun 26 11 10:31 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Tags : None A friend has one, no mag in about "average" shape.I have been nursing a sale along for a few years and I think he may be ready to sell. I even have the dies for reloading, thanks to the group buy a couple of years ago. He has no idea of the value, and I can only guess, w/o mag about $200-250. I have seen mags from $20-75. Anyone have an opinion on the price? If I don't buy it, it will probably live the rest of it's life in a gun safe. We found some ammo for about $2 a pop, but he won't pay that for it. I could load up some ammo for him, but I make it a policy to not reload for anyone.

I wouldn't put more than $20-$25 in a magazine unless it was a 7.62x39 52/57 mag. Those are more difficult to find, thus more expensive. What brass are you using to reform to make x45 brass?

Posts: 14439 Jun 30 11 5:27 AM Forum Co-Administrator Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I just read that you had the dies for reloading and assumed you were reforming brass to make ammo for 7.62x45. There are a few different cases that can be used to make it, but all of them require some amount of work. Buffalo is the way to go to get their ready made brass, if they actually have it in stock. They are nice enough to not let you know it's not available until you actually purchase it and then they send you a note saying it's on backorder and you can only cancel the order by calling them at their convenience. You cannot e-mail to cancel the order. So it might pay to call rather than purchase it on line.

Are the primers black looking? The 15 round boxes have been going for around $10 per box, some places a little more, some a little less. If the ammo is on clips, you can ask a little more for them.

Posts: 94 Sep 24 11 5:50 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	The ammo has a coating on it and there in 15rd boxes on strippers i have them in 50cal ammo cans since i got them. Does $12 a box sound right with them on strippers? Then i have the rifle with wood stock, 9 mags 4 ammo pouches and 1200rds of ammo for sale, plus a little bag of extra parts. . Posts: 14439 Sep 25 11 7:12 AM Forum Co-Administrator Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I just saw an ad for the ammo on clips over at gunboards for $10 per box plus shipping this morning. The primers are starting to go on the ammo that I've managed to accumulate over the past few years. Some of the surplus rounds just click, some click/bang with delayed ignition, the rest of them shoot just fine. I put the duds in a box and pull them down for component use in new cases.

I will post photos BUT, want to see what kind of interest there is out there and what may be the current market value. Any takers???
