It appears to have a Light Contour barrel and looks to be in almost new shape. It comes with extra chokes, the walnut stock has nice checkering and also appears like new. I'll upload pictures after my pickup date. Serial #PC442214, if anyone can help me with the date of manufacture?

Posts: 1141 Apr 12 12 7:27 AM Veteran member Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Remington Year of Manufacture Codes maybe found on the barrel on the left side, just forward of the receiver; the first letter of the Code is the month of manufacture, followed by one or two letters which are the year of manufacture. For shotguns with removeable barrels, the code will be valid for the manufacture of the barrel; maybe for the receiver, as barrels do get switched around. Posts: 154 May 4 12 1:20 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Hi JTB1967, I have that chart, if the second letter is the year of manufacture my gun was made in 1982. But the 11-87 started in 1987? If it were the first letter, that would make it 1995! Which makes more sense? Can anyone confirm? Serial #PC442214? It's the light contour barrel.
