Unmarked Bolt Body and Cocking Piece |
Lead | |
|
I was looking at some 91/30's last Friday at a local dealer. I had my eye on a really nice 1942 Izhevsk. It had a nice blond stock in really great condition, was all matched--not forced matched, had a good bore, good over all finish and looked very nice. Probably the nicest one I've seen. All of the parts were Izhevsk marked except for the bolt body and cocking piece. There wasn't mark one on either of them. Is it common to have the bolt body and cocking piece unmarked? I thought the Russians were stamp-happy. Should I go back and see if this one is still available?
