My Dad was from a small town in rural Pennsylvania, Farrel, in the Shenango Valley region I think it was. Great country for deer hunting up that way- or at least used to be. Back then most of the voices heard there would have reflected Eastern Europe. The old houses are still there but, now old and mostly in disrepair. The 'accents' are a lot different too. Grandpa, by the way, was a real "immigrant." Came through Ellis island in 1911 from Croatia. He and later his sons worked in the steel mills back when America provided steel to the world. America- back in the day. Yes, the old neighborhood has changed. I worked Security at the Shenango Valley Osteopathic hospital. A lot of bad things showed up in the ER - didn't take too long before I realized why I was there. Thanks for sharing the picture. Merle
