Interesting Mosin Nagant M91/30
A guy sent me an email out of the blue asking if I could identify a "Type 38" his grand dad had in his estate. It is supposed to have been brought back from Japan after the war. I asked for pictures and received these.
I replied I believed he had a Russian Soviet M91/30 that had been captured in an Asian country (possibly China) "IF" it was brought home from Japan. Any documentation would be of benefit. It is an interesting piece, but all I could say was that it was probably, maybe worth, more than "a few hundred."
Opinions would be appreciated.
"We must all hang together, or most assuredly we shall all hang separately."
Benjamin Franklin, July 4 1776
"There have been many wise warnings that freedom is seldom lost all at once. It is usually eroded away, bit by bit, until it is all gone. You may not notice a gradual erosion while it is going on, but you may eventually be shocked to discover one day that it is all gone, that we have been reduced from citizens to subjects, and the Constitution has become just a meaningless bunch of paper."
